Golden Kamuy has entered its last arc for several months now, with the series reaching its climax, here’s how many chapters are left until the ending.

Golden Kamuy is one of the most popular action and seinen manga currently in publication. Taking place in the early 20th century and starring a Japanese imperial soldier, Saichi Sugimoto, and an Ainu girl, Asirpa, the manga written and illustrated by Satoru Noda, with supervision by Dr. Hiroshi Nakagawa, has over 19 million printed copies in circulation in Japan alone. The manga is atypical and interesting in how it takes particular care in depicting Ainu culture, doesn’t go into stereotypes, and doesn’t shy away from hinting at how the Japanese government persecuted the Ainu in Hokkaido.

Here’s When Golden Kamuy is Ending and How Many Chapters Are Left

Satoru Noda announced on April 7 via the Weekly Young Jump Issue 19 2022 released that day that there are only three (3) chapters left until Golden Kamuy ends. The final chapter, chapter 314, will be published in Weekly Young Jump Issue 22 2022, which is scheduled to release on April 28, 2022. Note that the manga was taking a break this week and there is no new chapter on April 7.

Fans are Also Waiting for Season 4 Coming Out This Year

Golden Kamuy will also get its 4th anime season in October 2022. The TV anime adaptation first started in 2018 and has been popular and lucrative enough to come back nearly every single year. Check out the latest trailer for season 4 below.

Personally speaking, I’ve only picked up Golden Kamuy recently and am still in the early arcs of the manga. It’s been an incredible ride so far though, and the series is pretty different from what I imagined. Because what you see the most on social media is Asirpa memes and faces without context at all. I definitely recommend picking up the manga if you’ve only watched the anime. I’ll try to get to the anime myself too as soon as time permits.
