Harry Styles donated enough money from his solo tour to provide almost 16,000 meals to Hoosiers through Second Helpings.
INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Harry Styles partnered with Second Helpings to help feed a lot of Hoosiers this holiday season.
On June 27, Styles performed in Indianapolis and the money made from merchandise sold during that concert was given to Second Helpings — an organization that provides food rescue and hunger relief in Indianapolis.
"When people are hungry, they can’t learn, can’t work, and can’t grow. Feeding hungry people doesn't’t just fill bellies. It changes lives," Second Helpings posted on its site.
Each of Styles sold-out shows had a portion of those sales go to local charities. Enough of that was donated to Indianapolis' Second Helpings to provide 15,818 meals to Hoosiers in need.
This past year, Styles was able to help 59 local charities during his solo tour.
