343 Industries have revealed two special Tech Test Beta weekends will be taking place for Halo Infinite over the next two weekends, giving fans the opportunity to jump in early.
Unfortunately, taking part in the Halo Infinite Tech Test Beta isn’t as simple as registering and jump right into it. So, here’s everything you need to know about the upcoming Halo Infinite Tech Test Beta, including the exact start time, dates, and sign-up details.

Halo Infinite Beta – Start Time & Date
During a lengthy Q&A Blog Post for Halo Infinite, the developers revealed further details on the upcoming Tech Test Beta, including all of the start times and dates.
Starting from Thursday, September 23rd, those who have been selected to take part will be able to download the Tech Test for Weekend 1.
Then the real fun begins on Friday, September 24th until Sunday 26th when weekend one begins, followed by the second weekend on Friday, October 1st until Sunday, October 3rd. Start times for each Halo Infinite Tech Test Beta Weekends can be found below.
Weekend 1 (Arena)
- Friday, September 24 @ 10am-2pm & 5pm-9pm PT: Matchmaking available
- Saturday, September 25 @ 10am-2pm & 5pm-9pm PT: Matchmaking available
- Sunday, September 26 @ 10am-2pm & 5pm-9pm PT: Matchmaking available
- Monday, September 27 @ 10am PT: Flight access closes until Weekend 2
Weekend 2 (Big Team Battle & Arena)
- Friday, October 1 @ 10am-2pm & 5pm-9pm PT: Matchmaking available
- Saturday, October 2 @ 10am-2pm & 5pm-9pm PT: Matchmaking available
- Sunday, October 3 @ 10am-2pm & 5pm-9pm PT: Matchmaking available
- Sunday, October 3 @ 9pm PT: Surveys go out to a portion of Halo Insiders
- Monday, October 4 @ 10am PT: Flight access closes
- Wednesday, October 6 @ 10am PT: Halo Support site closes

How To Sign Up and Play The Halo Infinite Beta
Although there’s no guarantee you’ll be chosen to take part in the Halo Infinite Tech Test Beta, there is a way to sign up and register your interest.
Simply follow the steps below if you’re interested in being considered for the upcoming Beta.
- Become a Halo Insider by signing up on the official website here.
- Sign in with your Xbox Live Account.
- Allow Microsoft to access your information by selecting ‘Yes’ when prompted.
- Fill in the requirements and select ‘Join The Program’.
- Fill in your details such as Email Address, Location, etc. and select ‘Continue’.
- You have now registered for the Halo Insider Program and will be contacted via email if chosen to take part in the Tech Test for Halo Infinite.
