This conversation opens up three additional regions of ocean that you can explore. The tree that you’ve been sent to visit is the furthest southeast of these squares. This is also where Blu sent you to dive in his quest a long time ago. Make sure you have diving goggles from Noho’s shop and refuel your boat.

From Qälis, sail east two squares through Iron Island and Copper Cay (stopping to gather resources if you desire) and then sail south. You’ll arrive at Orientalis Temple (Location 16/33). This small, round island contains a fountain for you to refuel your boat. Blu and Napopo also hang out here and there are two bait buckets and some hives to gather honey.

When you are done here, sail east to the Abandoned Station (Location 17/33). There is no land to walk on here; only a diving spot and a large, metal structure you can sail under.

Sail south and you’ll arrive at the Qwe Tree (Location 18/33). Like the Abandoned Station, there is no place to get out of your boat. Near the tree is a diving spot. Dive down here to get the ring for Blu. You’ll get “Bring the Ring of the Elits to Aquila” (Napopo 10/23).

A little further south is the fishing spot. Catch a Mutant Fish here to get “Bring Dunna the Sick Fish you found near the Qwe Tree” (Koa 83/124).

Taima is usually found at the south end of the area. I wasn’t able to trade with her when we first met, but now you can. She has several seeds that you haven’t seen before (Eggplant, Tomato, Turnip, Pea, and Strawberry) as well as raspberries which you can use to plant raspberry bushes on your home island.

Talk to her to get her first quest: “Make a Pom Ton Drum for Taima” (Taima 1/8).

Sail west to Islumber Woods (Location 19/33). Not much to do here.

Sail west again to reach Withered Island (Location 20/33). You could have come here earlier, but there wasn’t much point then and there still isn’t much point. There are some cocoa trees on the beach and a few other unremarkable gather points.

Head west and then south to return to Black Volcano and present the mutant fish to Dunna. She will give you “Bring Dunna’s Blueprint to Caleb so he can upgrade the boat” (Koa 84/124) and the Navy Uniform (Outfit 4/7).

Sail north to your home island. Craft the Drum for Taima. Fortunately, it only requires rope, fabric, and wood which you should easily have. Plant your new seeds and trees too and feed your pigs to get truffles for money.

Sail back to Qälis and talk to Caleb on the docks. While you’re waiting for Caleb to work on the plans, you’ll talk to Noho and get “Bring Edegan an Orange Ice Cream so he’ll gives you information about the Elits” (Koa 85/124).

Before going to the bank, swing by the market and sell all of your truffles for lots of coins. You’ll soon need several thousand coins to upgrade your ship. Replenish your supply of carrot seeds to make more food for your pigs.

Take the ice cream that you got up the street to the bank and talk to Edegan. After a scene, you’ll get “Bring the Materials to Caleb in order to upgrade the boat” (Koa 86/124). You need oars (which you can craft, but I found from random crates already) and coins as well as an Ultimate Tank.

Head over to Aquila’s mansion and return the ring to him to get “Ask Napopo about Aquila’sreaction to the ring” (Napopo 11/23).

Head to the shrine and talk to Blu to get “Build a Beehive on your island” (Blu 7/7) and a Bee Outfit (Outfit 5/7). Blu also sells the Ultimate Tank that you need for 1000 coins.

Talk to Napopo to advance her quest and get “Get a Canvas for Napopo – she’s a great artist” (Napopo 12/23). You won’t be able to complete this quest for quite a while though.

Return to Caleb to get your boat upgraded. You will get the next quest “Return to Dunna so that she can give you instructions about the Elits” (Koa 87/124) and unlock:
