Graeter's Ice Cream is giving back in September.

INDIANAPOLIS (WTHR) — Graeter's Ice Cream is giving back in September.

The ice cream shop is teaming up with The Cure Starts Now Foundation to encourage customers to join the fight against pediatric cancer. On two surprise days in September, customers can get a free sugar cone of Elena's Blueberry Pie ice cream. Graeter's announced the first day is Thursday, Sept. 5.

From 4-8 p.m., participating stores will offer a single scoop of the flavor in a sugar cone for free. While there's no purchase necessary to take advantage of the deal, donations to The Cure Starts Now are appreciated.

The foundation aims to find a cure for all cancers, starting with one of the most deadly and difficult: pediatric brain cancer.

If you can't make it to a store, you can also order pints of Elena's Blueberry Pie at graeters.com and donate to The Cure starts now at conesforthecure.com. If you buy a pint, Graeter's cautioned you may noticed something off about the carton: "blueberry" is spelled incorrectly.

Elena’s Blueberry Pie is back!

(We should let you know that we spelled Blueberry wrong on our pints. But, instead of reprinting them, we decided to donate that money to The Cure Starts Now).💜

"Instead of reprinting them, we decided to donate that money to The Cure Starts Now," the company wrote on Twitter.

Graeter's hopes to raise $180,000 with the campaign this year.
