Muspelheim is one of the shortest parts of Kratos’s journey in God of War Ragnarok. Consisting of primarily The Crucible, and one short story arch, there isn’t a lot to do here this time around.

Luckily, that means there are also only two of Odin’s ravens for you to destroy here, making your journey into this unforgiving realm as short and sweet as possible. This guide will walk you through finding the two ravens as quickly as possible.
Burning Cliffs Raven
Although you’ll spend the majority of your time in Musphelheim traversing the many gauntlets of The Crucible, neither of the ravens you’ll find here is located on that side of the volcano. Instead, you’ll find both of them near the Burning Cliffs.
Before you can access this section of Musphelheim, you’ll need to complete the vast majority of the game’s story first. Once you reach the point where you are preparing to wage war on Asgard, you’ll finally be given access to the Burning Cliffs area, located on the opposite side of the volcano from The Crucible.
To get to the first raven, start by navigating to the Burning Cliffs Mystic Gateway. From the gateway, head down the ledge and move to your right. Go through the cave and make your way toward the Legendary Chest. Once you are facing the chest, turn right, and you’ll see the first raven in an opening in the rock wall.

Surtr’s Forge
After grabbing the first raven, turn around and face behind the opening in the wall where you destroyed the raven. You should see a gap in the rock wall that you can crawl through. Head through the gap to reach an area with multiple paths. Head east until you reach the lava waterfall in the image above.
Sidle across the ledge behind the lava-fall, and continue down the path, making your way east. Crawl under the collapsed gate shown in the middle image above. Take the zipline down to Surtr’s forge, and head up to the plateau where you spoke to Surtr. Once at the top, turn around and face northwest. Across from you, you’ll find the raven sitting under an archway above.
