Genevieve Nnaji returns to Instagram amid mental illness rumour

Actress Genevieve Nnaji on Wednesday made a shocking return to Instagram amid rumours of deteriorating mental health.
The Nollywood actress posted a video of herself smiling while painting on a canvass.
Genevieve’s post comes hours after she deleted all previous posts and unfollowed everyone.

The screen goddess who celebrated her birthday on May 3 sparked concerns among fans when she made what many called “weird posts”.
The Lionheart star had in the post quoted a text from the Quran.
The quote read; “This (Dunya) is not real. It’s just a dream.”
The post was accompanied by a prayer mat with the quote, “Every soul will taste death. Pray before you are prayed upon.”
Reacting to the rumours, On-Air-Personality, Do2dtun lamented the poor handling of Genevieve’s public relations and called for the sack of the PR lead.
The Mbaise, Imo State, indigene made her directorial debut movie, Lionheart, which is the first Netflix original from Nigeria and the first Nigerian submission for the Oscars.
She was honoured in 2011 as a Member of the Order of the Niger by the Nigerian government for her contributions to entertainment.
