But Gabriel Macht proved that he can do slapstick comedy too.
The 42-year-old took a tumble while skateboarding on the NBC Today Show on Thursday.

Suited up: Gabriel and his co-star Patrick J. Adams dished about the show's fourth season, which premieres on June 11
The cast of the hit USA Network show apparently get around the large Toronto set on skateboards.
So the Today hosts offered Gabriel the chance to show off his skateboarding skills live on television.
His co-star Patrick J. Adams stood by as Gabriel got ready, but things didn't go quite as planned.
He jumped on the skateboard but lost his footing, falling backwards on the floor.
Here we go! Gabriel stepped his one foot on the skateboard as the four hosts waited eagerly to see what he would do

'You gave me a faulty skateboard?' he joked.
The actors were also asked about their friendship off-camera.
'We can't stand each other,' Patrick teased. 'No, we're starting to get along now after four years. ... Just a bit.'
'His ego is the size of Florida,' said Gabriel. 'It's terrible!'
Not fazed: Gabriel laughed off his fall, giving his signature grin as he and his co-star chatted about the upcoming season
The fourth season of the USA Network show premieres on June 11.
Patrick also touched on his other project, NBC's Rosemary's Baby.
'Do you know what happens?' he said about the finale airing Thursday. 'A baby is born. ... It is a devil baby, I think. Spoiler alert! I blew it!'.
