Time flies! Today is the final of the first season of Fortnite Chapter 3 as we will step into Season 2 in a few hours once the server downtime is finished!

Three months earlier, Fortnite officially entered Chapter 3 with some huge announcements, including the ability to swing and slide in gameplay, which significantly changed the tactics of players in the game.

Today, we are going to step into the second season of Chapter 3, and obviously, we all are hyped for what Epic Games has planned for gamers in the new season. However, before the new season kicks off, we will need to wait for the server maintenance and downtime to conclude, and usually, it doesn’t take more than a few hours!

Fortnite Chapter 3 Season 2 Server Downtime and Maintenance Schedule

According to the official Fortnite Status Twitter account, Fortnite servers will go down for maintenance on March 20 at 12 am PT/3 am ET/7 am UTC/8 am CET/6 pm AEDT with the matchmaking being disabled 30 minutes prior to the beginning of the downtime. The downtime is expected to last for 1 or 2 hours, though you really can’t predict these kinds of backend works as unexpected things always happen.

Downtime for Chapter 3 Season 2 will start at 3:00 AM ET (07:00 UTC) with matchmaking being disabled 30 minutes prior.

Once the servers go down, we will let you know of any important leak that comes out from the new season. Without a doubt, the new season will further expand the story and bring more new outfits to the Item Shop. A rumored Dr. Strange crossover could also be available on the launch day of Season 2 in Chapter 3.

Fortnite is now available for free on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, Android, and PC. The iOS version is still out of reach!
