Fatal pedestrian crash: Trucks strike woman on US 19

HOMOSASSA, Fla. — A pedestrian died from her injuries after being hit by two trucks heading north on U.S. Highway 19 in Citrus County, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
Troopers say the 43-year-old woman from Homosassa was standing in the road for some unknown reason when she was struck in succession by two trucks.
The drivers of the two trucks were not injured.
