“Everyone can just listen to you in Japanese”: Live Action Mihawk Star Faces Off Against One Piece Voice Actor in Hilariously Viral Video

Since the release and success of One Piece live-action season 1, fans have been waiting for news about the second season to see their favorite actors portray the ever-loving characters from One Piece. After the release of the first season, fans were head over heels to see the world’s strongest swordsman come to life and become one of the most loved characters among the cast of the series.

Mihawk was played by Steven John Ward, and his acting as the character was loved so much by the fans that he became one of the most popular characters from the series. From his physique to his voice, everything about him was spot on and resembled exactly the Mihawk from the original manga and anime.

Recently, Ward got the chance to meet John Gremillion, the voice actor behind Mihawk from One Piece anime and both of them created one of the funniest interaction videos ever, which has gone viral on social media. They both acted like Mihawk and got into a funny banter just like Mihawk would have done in the series, and fans have been loving the video so much.

Live-Action Mihawk vs. Mihawk’s Voice Actor Face-Off Goes Viral

The video, which was shared on X (Twitter), showed Live-Action Mihawk Ward and Mihawk’s voice actor Gremillion interacting with each other in a sarcastic original Mihawk-like tone and their face was extremely funny. Both of them got into their character and conversed with each other just like the real Mihawk would have, and it was hilarious.

The video started with both of them getting engaged in a funny roast battle about how Ward had to do more to perform Mihawk, while Gremillion has been doing Mihawk’s voice for 20 years. Ward’s final response to this statement ended the roast battle as he pointed out the fact that although Gremillion has been doing the voice for Mihawk for 20 years, people still prefer the Japanese version.

Their face-off was then stopped, and both of them agreed to a truce as both of them were practically the same person. Both Gremillion and Ward were in the same venue attending a convention, and as they both met each other, fans got one of the funniest videos of Mihawk actors of all time.
