MMA fans are dumbfounded by the price of UFC 295 tickets.

Jon Jones is booked to defend his heavyweight title for the first time against former two-time champion Stipe Miocic at Madison Square Garden in New York on November 11.

Only five more uninspiring fights have been announced, but tickets are already on sale and being snapped up for astronomical amounts of money.

One fan spent $112,236.80, which is just over £90,000, to attend the eagerly anticipated event – four times more than anyone else has forked out to watch the UFC live in 2023.

Earlier this year, someone paid £24,560 [$31,730] for a UFC 287 ticket.

While these types of tickets get you the best seat in the house, fans will need to pay big money to sit in the worst seats as the cheapest tickets currently available are £693 [$864].

The unfortunate fans who have been priced out of UFC 295 have taken to social media to speak about their shock and amazement at what is happening.

One fan reacted to the £90K ticket by tweeting: “Sitting beside Dana?? Lol.”

Another commented: “Just so Jones can win in 20 seconds.”

Someone else said: “They are smoking crack. This card isn't stacked and nobody wants to see this fight that bad lol.”

A fourth person added: “The prices are so unfair it's crazy the cheapest is like 900 bucks unbelievable.

The fan feeling was summed up by a Twitter user who said: “That's disgusting man!!”

More big fights are expected to be added to UFC 295.

Leon Edwards is linked to the card. ‘Rocky’ is supposed to be defending his welterweight title against long-time contender Colby Covington in the co-main event.

Ian Garry wants to fight Stephen Thompson at MSG in November, but ‘Wonderboy’ told talkSPORT he is not willing to scrap with the Irish prospect in two months’ time.

Either way, Garry is expected to face someone on the card and Conor McGregor’s newest sparring partner would be a welcome addition to Dana White’s penultimate pay-per-view event of the year.

The UFC boss will have to make more big fight announcements soon if he hopes to silence fans who are claiming Jones vs Miocic tickets are overpriced.
