The Daily Freeman reports True died November 7 at a hospital in Kingston, New York, according to the funeral home handling her services. She was 68. The cause of death was not released.
True's biggest hit was "More, More, More," which peaked at number 4 in 1976.
True had wanted to become an actress and had bit parts in some mainstream movies but appeared in several X-rated films before her music career.
