The store is closing the end of January as part of major changes planned for the mall at U.S.19 and Park Boulevard.Frequent shoppers say they’ll miss the Dillard’s Parkside store.Claudette Lowowski, Feather Sound“You either got to go to Countryside, International Plaza or Tyrone. It’s sad.”Owners Boulder Venture South plan to tear down the indoor mall in favor of outdoor stores around the edge of the property. Parking would be in the middle, much like the new Clearwater Mall. A 16-screen movie theatre would remain.A spokesman for Parkside refused to talk with 10 News about the plans now, saying an announcement may come in February. The City of Pinellas Park would still have to approve any changes.
