Microsoft has now announced a Diablo 4 Xbox Series X bundle, which includes a console, a copy of the game, and an in-game mount. [Updated]

Update:
Unfortunately, it wasn't a special edition console like many had hoped — Microsoft has now announced the Xbox Series X – Diablo IV Bundle, which includes an Xbox Series X, controller, a copy of Diablo IV, and the Light-Bearer Mount with Caparison of Faith Mount Armor in-game item. The bundle also includes bonus in-game items for other Blizzard games, including the "Inarius Wings & Inarius Murloc Pet for Diablo III for console and PC, Amalgam of Rage Mount for World of Warcraft on PC, Umber Winged Darkness Cosmetics Set for Diablo Immortal on mobile."

The bundle is now up for preorder for $559.99 and releases on June 6th.

Original Story:
The news comes from leaker billbil-kun on Twitter, who claims that a special edition Diablo IV Xbox Series X console will release on June 6th, which is also the release date of Diablo IV.

Special edition Diablo IV Xbox Series X console supposedly leaks online

According to billbil-kun, the console will be priced at $559.99, which is $60 more than the price of a standard Xbox Series X console. This would imply that the console will come with a copy of Diablo IV, but the leaker notes that the listing doesn't mention the word "bundle." It's also unknown when this new console will be announced.

If the leak is true, this will be the second special edition Xbox Series X console made available for wider purchase — the first being the Halo Infinite Xbox Series X, which predictably sold out everywhere in minutes and became prey to online scalpers.

In other Diablo IV news, Blizzard's senior vice president and general manager of Diablo, Rod Fergusson, confirmed that the action-RPG would not be coming to Xbox Game Pass. However, if Microsoft's acquisition of Activision Blizzard is approved, that will likely change.
