On February 2, 2024, the anime movie Demon Slayer To The Hashira Training was released in Japan. By February 23, 2024, it had already been released in nearly every country in the world. It is an explicit continuation of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba’s third season. It includes the Swordsmith Village and Hashira Training chapters from Koyoharu Gotouge’s manga series.

Box Office Mojo reports that Demon Slayer To The Hashira Training opened with 5.5 million USD on Friday, February 23. On Saturday, its earnings decreased to 3.5 million USD, and on Sunday, it only made 2.5 million USD. It presently holds the second position in the US Box Office with a total revenue collection of roughly 11.5 million USD from its opening weekend.

Its overall collection to date in its home market of Japan is 9.8 million USD, while its global collection is estimated to be at 28.2 million USD. Crunchyroll distributed the picture, which has a runtime of 1 hour 44 minutes, through Sony Pictures Releasing in 1,949 theaters. On the other hand, Toho and Aniplex released Demon Slayer 4 in Japan.
