Eastbound traffic is slowly moving, according to the sheriff's office.

DAVENPORT, Fla. — At least one person is dead following a crash on Interstate 4 in Polk County, the sheriff's office said.

This crash happened on eastbound I-4 between U.S. 27 and the Ronald Reagan Parkway overpass. It reportedly involved a truck and motorcycle. Further details about what led to the crash, how many people were involved and other injuries have not been released at this time.

Eastbound traffic is slowly moving but backups and delays will likely linger for a while, deputies said. Traffic cameras in the area show traffic is backed up for miles.

The sheriff's office is also investigating a separate deadly crash that happened before 4:30 a.m. Tuesday near Davenport along U.S. 17/92 and Ernie Caldwell Boulevard. This deadly crash shut down the roadway in both directions.
