Console Edition Server Wipe Today? (April 28)

We’re finally approaching the end of April, which means the Rust: Console Edition monthly server wipe is on the horizon and fans are eager to know exactly when it’s set to take place.

Although fresh wipes usually take place each week, the monthly wipe usually has some extras. The Rust: Console Edition developers did confirm with last month’s wipe that the upcoming server refresh would wipe players’ blueprints too. This means following today’s wipe, all progress, including blueprints, will be completely reset.

What Is The Rust: Console Edition Server Wipe?

Along with weekly wipes, the official Rust: Console Edition server wipe takes place on the final Thursday of each month. The type of wipe can vary from month to month, with some resetting blueprints along with other progress.

The reason for this is to keep things fair for all players, as well as to ensure the continued stability of the servers.

What Time Is The Next Rust: Console Edition Server Wipe?

The next Rust: Console Edition server wipe will be taking place on Thursday, April 28, 2022. As always, fans can expect the monthly wipe to take place at 11AM PT / 2PM ET / 7PM BST.

Players may notice a short period of downtime whilst the developers wipe the official Rust: Console Edition servers. Facepunch Studios have previously stated that the downtime may begin around 20 minutes before the wipe is set to take place, but this can change from month to month.

The developers are also known to release a new update on the day of the monthly wipe, but a new patch for today’s wipe is yet to be confirmed.
