In Blue Lock Chapter 218, one of the series’ classic rivalries, between Niko and Isagi, will be reignited. The rivalries keep changing as we see how the characters have grown over the fights, and it appears that Barou and Isagi will be going head-to-head soon. It shouldn’t have been a surprise that Isagi evolved, given that Niko was the one who gave him his original boost.
You’d be hard-pressed to find a more low-key person than Niko. But no one can match his keen eye for detail. Without him, Isagi’s enlightenment never would have happened. He doesn’t make quite as much use of his skills as Isagi does, though.

The chapter ‘Game Changer’ opened with Neko chatting with Isagi and showing off his meta vision, which looked very neat in the panel. Niko had previously stopped him from grabbing the loose ball in the previous chapter. It was their opponent from the very first game who fueled their pride.
Because Isagi lost possession of the ball and missed a golden opportunity, Raichi Jingo came to reprimand him. Isagi immediately expressed regret and inquired of Raichi whether or not he had grasped Isagi’s gestures. Raichi, however, thought that Isagi, who was rather close to the spot, had intercepted the ball away from Lorenzo.
Isagi’s realization that not everyone possessed meta vision thanks to this debate allowed for the inclusion of more of these users in the contest. Isagi claims that only three players have meta vision, with Lorenzo having the potential to join their ranks. Aside from them, only Barou possessed extraordinary vision, and his skills were limited to goal-scoring rather than the full field.
With the match about to resume, Isagi reads the ball in anticipation of returning to the pitch. The next goal will be critical. Ness, however, was concerned about their ability to halt Lorenzo. Kaiser told Ness to relax before he set the world on fire with his meta vision and resolve. When play began with Bastard Munchen in possession, the momentum was suddenly derailed when Kunigami Rensuke emerged out of nowhere, snatched the ball from Ness, and raced in the direction of the goal.
