A video circulating on social media has revealed a confrontation between some suspected ‘Yahoo boys’ (internet fraudsters) and an Islamic cleric.
According to reports, the alleged online fraudsters accused the cleric of defrauding their colleague of approximately N500k.
One of them reportedly sought the assistance of the cleric, paying him N500,000 for a bathing soap intended to advance the profits of his criminal activities.

After using the product for several weeks, it was reportedly found that the soap wasn’t potent. To get back to the Islamic cleric, the aggrieved customer invited the cleric over to his place, claiming his friends wanted the same soap.
But upon arrival, the guy and his friends attacked the cleric, calling him a thief and ridiculing him on camera.
