Aida Turturro explains why you rarely see Janice eat on "The Sopranos"

SANTA MONICA, Calif. (AP) -- There's a lot of eating on HBO's "The Sopranos." But have you noticed you hardly ever see Tony's sister Janice eat? Actress Aida Turturro says it's on purpose because in real life she has diabetes. Every little morsel of food counts. Turturro says even if it's a few bites for the TV show, she still has to count it or her blood sugar could get out of whack.Turturro is on a campaign to raise awareness about diabetes while on a break from filming the upcoming sixth season of the "The Sopranos."
