‘A man is not stingy if he loves you’ – Blessing Okoro tells ladies, netizens react

Renowned Nigerian relationship expert, Blessing Okoro, recently took to social media to challenge the concept of a “stingy man” in relationships or marriages.

In her statement, Blessing asserted that true love involves giving, and any man who is unable or unwilling to provide gifts or fulfil basic needs for his partner does not genuinely love her. According to her, giving is a vital way of expressing love for another person.

Blessing drew reference from the Bible, highlighting that God demonstrated His love for humanity by giving His only begotten son.

She argued that women are not in relationships with stingy men but rather with men who do not love them. Additionally, Blessing suggested that some women lack self-value and self-worth, often feeling entitled to a man’s money simply because they have offered him sex. She further claimed that many men are reluctant to give because the women they are dating do not demonstrate value.

Blessing advised women to focus on personal growth, cultivating a classy appearance. She emphasized that a woman’s demeanour and appearance can convey a great deal about her and teach a man how to treat her. According to her, a classy woman will naturally attract favours without having to beg for them.
