Johnny Tremain (1957)

Hal Stalmaster stars as the title character in 1957's Johnny Tremain, an adaptation of Esther Forbes' 1943 novel by the same name from Walt Disney Productions. Johnny brushes shoulders with Paul Revere and helps the colonists in their fight for the revolution.

The Crossing (2000)

Jeff Daniels became General George Washington for the 2000 A&E TV movie The Crossing. Starring alongside Roger Rees, Sebastian Roché, and Steven McCarthy, Daniels portrays Washington on his famed journeys and battles in the 1770s.
