Nintendo has the most nominations as a publisher with 15 this year, followed by Sony Interactive Entertainment/PlayStation with 13 nominations.
LOS ANGELES — Nominations were announced for one of the world's biggest gaming awards show Monday.
"The Game Awards" honors the year's most popular and cutting-edge video games and allows fans to vote for their favorite ones in each separate category.
Fantasy role-playing game "Baldur's Gate 3," horror game "Alan Wake 2" and open-world "The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom" lead the pack for individual games.
With its recent popular release of "Super Mario Bros. Wonder," Nintendo has the most nominations as a publisher with 15 this year, followed by Sony Interactive Entertainment/PlayStation with 13 nominations.
Fans can participate in the voting through December 6 on The Game Awards' website here, or on the award show's Discord.
The show goes live Dec. 7, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. ET.
